Emmerdale ripped from TV schedules again

We had one full day of the soap schedules being back to normal and now, everything has changed again.

When the Euros kicked off a few weeks ago, the normal broadcasting times for Emmerdale, Coronation Street and EastEnders were thrown up in the air.

Because it was so confusing (even for us!) both BBC and ITV were uploading instalments to their streaming services to save fans from checking schedules constantly.

Following the Euros and Wimbledon finals, you would think the summer of sport had come to an end but sadly, that isn’t the case.

Here’s everything you need to know about the soaps and their schedules for this week:

Is Emmerdale on tonight?

Emmerdale will not be airing on ITV tonight due to the continuing coverage of the women’s UEFA Euro 2025 Qualifier.

If you’re still looking for a soap to watch tonight, you can flick over to BBC One at 7:30pm to check out EastEnders.

When will Emmerdale return?

We don’t have too long to wait, as Emmerdale will return to our screens tomorrow evening at 7pm.

Because of the missed episode tonight, Emmerdale will be broadcasted for one hour tomorrow to make up for it.

It will then be followed by Coronation Street at 8pm.

What is happening in the soaps this week?

In EastEnders, after Cindy (Michelle Collins) convinced herself that Ian (Adam Woodyatt) was having an affair, she followed him to a house and came face to face with Jane (Laurie Brett), Bobby’s (Clay Milner Russell) mum.

As the aftermath begins, Jane will reveal why she has returned to Ian’s life, but can Cindy deal with her arrival and increasing jealousy?

In Coronation Street, Joel (Calum Lill) grew paranoid yesterday when word got round Lauren (Cait Fitton) is actually alive. Determined to keep his real identity a secret, just how far will he go in order to stop Lauren from revealing the truth about her disappearance?

Over in Emmerdale, Mandy (Lisa Riley) will get a shock when Ella (Paula Lane) returns to the village, and Tom (James Chase) gets closer to isolating Belle (Eden Taylor-Draper) from her family completely, ahead of what Belle thinks is their holiday to Wales.
