Emmerdale viewers have same question after bizarre Caleb scene amid fire horror

Emmerdale viewers were forced to double-take during Tuesday's episode of the ITV soap, as Caleb Miligan enjoyed some lunch at The Woolpack after some worrying news

Emmerdale fans couldn’t believe their eyes during Tuesday’s episode, as one scene left them distracted.

Caleb Miligan was enjoying some lunch in The Woolpack with his wife Ruby Miligan amid some bad news. But it was what was on his plate that sent X into a spin, with viewers all issuing the same question.

As the character questioned who had been behind the fire at his car dealership, he told Ruby he did not think it would be his former nemesis Kim Tate. Of course he had no idea that Ruby had been targeting Kim recently, and now Kim was out for revenge.

Believing Caleb was out to get her, it was hinted she knew a thing or two about the car shop fire, and Ruby knew this was a possibility too. But as Caleb enjoyed his lunch and brushed off Kim taunting him over the incident, viewers were a little bit more occupied with questioning what was on his plate.

As Ruby enjoyed what looked like a salad, Caleb went all out with some chicken and what looked like vegetables. But given the size of the meat on the plate in front of him, viewers were left questioning how hungry he had to be given it looked as though he’d ordered a whole chicken for himself.

While it was likely a half portion of chicken, it did look pretty big. Viewers were baffled by his order, believing it to be a whole cooked chicken just for him.

Taking to X, one confused viewer posted: “Is Caleb eating a whole chicken?” Another joked: “Caleb: ‘Hi. I’ll have the nearly uncooked whole chicken please, and a side of undressed lettuce leaves…’.”

A third viewer posted: “Why is Caleb eating an entire chicken?” as a fourth asked: “Has Caleb got a whole chicken on that plate?” A fifth fan added: “Caleb ordering a full chicken to himself.”

The chicken was the least of Caleb’s worries though following a call from the police about his car shop being burned down. Officers warned that they would find the culprit once investigators carried out the needed tests, but will Kim be exposed amid hints she was to blame?

Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7:30pm on ITV1 and ITVX, with an hour-long episode on Thursdays.
