Emmerdale doesn’t hold back next week when it comes to the drama, as confirmed in my brand new picture spoilers, with a long-awaited showdown and a wedding disaster like no other.
The showdown comes in the wake of Belle Dingle’s (Eden Taylor-Draper) return to the eponymous village.
The wedding planner holds her ground when it comes to abuser Tom King (James Chase), who is determined to worm his way back into her good books.
Tom decides to throw an impromptu homecoming party for Belle and, what’s more, he gifts her with a retro mini in a bid to make up for selling her car without her permission.
But don’t go thinking that control freak Tom is a changed man as, soon enough, he’s back to his old tricks, using the extra key he got cut to sneak into Dale Head, despite Belle’s request for space.
The abuser reveals that he wants them to get back together. Belle, however, is having none of it. She bravely stands her ground, refusing to let Tom call the shots as she reiterates that she will not be giving him another chance.
Tom shockingly respects her wishes, leaving the premises at once. But the twisted vet has another trick up his sleeve, as he proceeds to spy on Belle with secret cameras that he installed in the house.
Will Belle realise that Tom is still keeping a watchful eye on her every move?
Elsewhere in the village, Mandy Dingle’s (Lisa Riley) wedding day rapidly approaches but whether or not she makes it down the aisle is up in the air.
The beauticians side hustle of financial domination is uncovered by Bear Wolf (Joshua Richards), who is horrified when he overhears her on a call to client!
The former wrestler urges Mandy to tell Paddy Kirk (Dominic Brunt) but she refuses, convincing him to keep shtum.
Bear, however, struggles to stay true to his word and thus he reveals all to a stunned Paddy! Mandy, meanwhile, gets ready for her wedding – but will the ceremony go as planned?
Emmerdale airs these scenes between Monday, August 12 and Friday, August 16 at 7:30pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
