Emmerdale spoilers for next week: Favourite returns, Nate’s secret and fears for Moira

Emmerdale spoilers have teased big scenes ahead, including a return, a possible death twist and two mystery plots.

There’s concern once again for Moira Dingle in upcoming episodes, as she sparks concern for her health. As she continues to act strangely there’s a row, but will the truth finally be revealed?

Another character involved in a mystery is Nate Robinson, who is seen taking a phone call leaving another resident wondering what he’s hiding. There’s the return of a familiar face too, as a character makes a comeback and soon issues a warning to someone.

Finally there’s danger ahead for a character after an incident on the farm with a bull, and soon there’s fears for their life. Here are the biggest moments happening in the week ahead…

Big return

A familiar face is heading back to Emmerdale next week according to new spoilers for the ITV soap. After months offscreen and a rather abrupt exit that left fans concerned earlier this year, Arthur Thomas will return to the village. He’s got harsh words for one resident too, with him not prepared to let them get away with recent behaviour.

Actor Alfie Clarke recently confirmed a return to the show after disappearing, with it thought he’d left the soap to work on his school exams. Now he’s back onscreen from next week, with Arthur returning from Australia and rejoining his mother Laurel.

Spoilers reveal that as his sister Gabby Thomas remains loved up with new flame Vinny Dingle, Arthur interrupts them at the house. He announces he is back, and he wastes no time in confronting stepfather Jai Sharma who has just split from Laurel.

Mack dies?

Emmerdale fans will see one character face serious danger next week, resulting in another resident being accused of revenge. Mackenzie Boyd will face grave peril in an incident at the farm, with him left injured. He’s rescued by his pal and colleague Nate Robinson, and soon a third character is accused of leaving his life on the line.

Mack will be working up at the barn when suddenly he realises the farm’s bull has got out onto the field. Staring at him, the bull is blocking his path to safety, and Mack knows any quick movement could leave him at risk of harm.

As things get tense, Mack makes a run for it and tries to reach safety by dodging the bull only to be left hurt. Mack is chased by the bull as he runs for the gate and soon he’s found in pain on the ground by Nate.

Mack thinks someone is to blame. He accuses new farmhand John Sugden of deliberately leaving the bull out as revenge for recent drama between them. Things seem to get worse too when Mack and partner Charity Dingle discuss whether to make John pay for what he’s possibly done.

As Charity speaks with him he suddenly goes quiet and woozy, before he collapses onto the sofa. Charity’s horrified and fears something is seriously wrong with her partner. But will Mack be okay

Nate’s secret

Emmerdale is lining up a new twist with Nate Robinson ahead of his reported exit from the ITV soap. The character, who is set to depart later this year according to reports, features in new spoilers that tease he’s hiding something.

Nate is keeping something from his loved ones, leaving his ex Tracy Metcalfe confused. Nate will sneak off to take a mystery phone call, while it’s not known who he is talking with or what the conversation is about.

Tracy assumes it’s a new woman in his life after their split, and it’s clear she still has feelings for her ex. But what is Nate up to, and what is he hiding from everyone?

Moira sparks concern

Spoilers for Emmerdale have revealed Moira Dingle will once again spark concern over her behaviour next week on the ITV soap. There’s a row between two loved ones as Moira’s worrying antics spark fears something is going on. Amid viewers predicting what’s going on with the character after recent scenes, the mystery deepens next week.

There’s a moment with son-in-law Nate that leads to his dad, Moira’s husband, Cain fearing there’s an affair on the cards. Not only that, but Cain is worried sick when Moira continues to drink and still does not seem herself.

According to spoilers, Cain confronts Moira over the whisky he’s found in her bag and an argument erupts between them. Cain’s soon unimpressed to see Moira knocking back painkillers too, worried about her.

But Moira fumes, showing him her unopened bottle of whisky and later on she confides in John Sugden about the state of her marriage. Sharing her fears, could it be a sign things are going to end between her and Cain?

What happens next could prove this to be the case, as Cain spots Nate and Moira having a drink and assumes the worst. Years on from Nate and Moira’s affair that tore her and Cain apart, it’s clear he suspects something is going on.

Nate’s horrified when his dad confronts him over his relationship with Moira and what they are up to, with him protesting his innocence. He’s left hurt as he pleads with Cain that their relationship is in a good place and he wouldn’t do anything to risk that. Cain soon storms off to see his young sons, but has Nate done enough to convince him? And what is really wrong with Moira?
