ITV Emmerdale’s Moira Dingle feared dead after shock seizure as life hangs in the balance
Moira Dingle collapsed after having a shock seizure on Emmerdale this evening - with fans fearful this could spell the end for a much-loved character on the ITV soap
Emmerdale aired some shock scenes tonight as Moira Dingle suffered a seizure.
Fans have been left puzzled after Moira – played by Natalie J Robb – seemed to be acting differently recently. She had been involved in a huge storyline with Matty being arrested for stabbing Samson, causing her much stress as he was in and out of prison.
However, in shock scenes tonight, Moira collapsed after suffering a seizure, leaving fans to be worried for her own health. The scenes saw Moira in the barn looking after their new bull, before she ended up collapsing.
Fans had long suspected something might be up with Moira, with viewers guessing a number of things including that she was suffering with a terminal cancer diagnosis or a brain injury – with the soap yet to confirm what exactly is wrong.

It has been a stressful time for Moira, having nearly lost Matty after he was arrested for stabbing Samson Dingle. It was an accident but Samson lied, at the behest of his friend Josh, and Matty nearly ended up in prison.
“Moira is extremely terrified and quite desperate because she knows this is not something Matty would ever do, it’s not in his nature. She feels that everybody’s kind of taking Samson’s side in the thing and that’s making her more and more frustrated and obviously that leads her to losing the plot more and trying to think of ways she can help Matty and get him out of the situation as quickly as possible,” Natalie shared of her most recent storyline.
“Of course it is out of character for Matty and she thinks there must have been some sort of misunderstanding. Then when she hears more about the content of what happened she says it had to be an act of self defence. There was nothing about the fact that they were robbing the Hide or anything like that, just the fact that Matty went to stab them. As a mother you know your child and I just know he’s not violent and he has a very kind and gentle nature.”
