Emmerdale fans ‘rumble’ real reason Caleb is targeting Jai in ‘secret revenge plot’
Emmerdale fans are predicting Caleb Miligan is out to get Jai Sharma on the ITV soap after they teamed up recently, and now his reason for revenge may have been revealed
Emmerdale viewers think they’ve worked out Caleb Miligan’s ‘secret revenge’ against another resident.
Amid Caleb appearing to team up with Jai Sharma to target Jimmy King and his haulage firm, fans are convinced Caleb is secretly plotting against Jai too. In a recent scene he convinced Jai to go into business with him for a mystery venture, securing some land that they both needed to invest in.
Jai was worried with how long things were taking to move along with their plans, not wanting to pay any money to Caleb until he was satisfied things were legit. Caleb feigned worry that Jai wasn’t going to be the partner he needed, before he revealed the deal was very much on.
But after confirming the land was theirs and that things could go ahead, he was seen smirking when Jai looked the other way. Fans are convinced Caleb is working against Jai amid him making a number of enemies in the village.
Now, a new theory could explain why he’s targeting him with a secret revenge twist planned. Viewers think it’s all linked to a recent double exit on the show.

Caleb’s son Nicky Miligan recently fled with partner Suni Sharma, Jai’s brother. Nicky wanted to move away after a falling out with his parents, while Suni was left devastated when his father Amit Sharma fled and seemingly left him with none of his business assets, giving everything to Jai.
He didn’t know that Jai had blackmailed Amit for the assets and had forced him to leave. When he found this out he was devastated and disowned his brother, before agreeing to move away with Nicky.
Some fans are now wondering if Caleb blames Jai for Nicky leaving the village, as he probably would have stayed if Suni didn’t leave. Fans are wondering if he’s taking revenge on Jai for his son leaving, wanting to make him pay.
The theory read: “Guess he’s going to fleece Jai to get back St him for his son and Sunni leaving Emmerdale due to Jai’s actions towards Suni. He will conveniently forget how he treated his son.” But are fans right?
