EastEnders star Bobby Brazier was one of the many famous faces sharing their thoughts on a new picture from Emmerdale’s Lewis Cope.
Lewis has portrayed Nicky Miligan in the ITV soap from 2022. Arriving initially as the new Home Farm nanny, Nicky’s identity was eventually confirmed as the son of Caleb Miligan (William Ash).
Caleb – who is the son of Frank Tate – was in the village to try and get revenge on Kim Tate (Claire King). His plan was to take Home Farm from her, and forced Nicky to start a fake relationship with Gabby Thomas (Rosie Bentham) to act as a man on the inside.
Caleb’s plot ended spectacularly when Kim worked out what he was up to.
Since this storyline, while Caleb is often up to no good, Nicky has tried to stay well away from helping his dad with criminal antics. He has started a relationship with Suni Sharma (Brahmdeo Shannon Ramana) and now, we know the couple are set to leave the village to start afresh.
In yesterday’s episode (July 3) of the ITV soap, Nicky and Suni continued to talk about the prospect of going travelling.
When Jai Sharma (Chris Bisson) arrived at the front door of Holdgate, Nicky answered in just a towel (oh, and his slippers) after having a shower.
Jai was planning to speak with Suni and tell him about why their dad Amit really left the Dales but when Nicky mentioned he was now in the bathroom, Jai used this as a perfect excuse to not hang around.
Nicky asked Jai to help him persuade Suni that travelling would be a fantastic idea for them both, but the troublesome character wasn’t really listening. He quickly left, leaving Nicky more than likely a little bit chilly standing on the doorstep with no clothes on!
After these scenes aired, Lewis Cope took to Instagram to share a picture of him on the doorstep of Holdgate – and it received quite the reaction from his soap star friends.
Bobby Brazier, who plays Freddie Slater in EastEnders, wrote: ‘Genuinely a dream boat’ while Matty Barton star Ash Palmisciano said:’🔥🔥 got any gym tips mate? 😂’.
Bobby returned to the BBC One soap earlier this year alongside Laila Morse, who plays Mo Harris.
He recently addressed rumours that he is dating co-star Jazzy Phoenix, who returned to the show as scheming Nadine Keller.
Speaking to the Daily Express, Bobby set the record straight about the rumoured romance.
‘Jazzy’s not my new girlfriend,’ he confirmed to the publication. ‘But you don’t believe everything you read do you? Come on now. We’re just good friends!’
Alongside his EastEnders return, Bobby is set to star in the upcoming Paramount Plus drama Curfew, alongside some EastEnders legends, including Anita Dobson, Lucy Benjamin and Larry Lamb, who played Angie Watts, Lisa Fowler and Archie Mitchell.
