It eventually landed him in hospital when Aaron’s beating caused him to suffer a scary brain injury.

It left Cain out cold but after coming back around, he immediately refused to remain in hospital for further monitoring.

Aaron’s actions have left a sour taste in fans mouths who have called on the show to give him the boot for his behaviour.

Having shown no remorse for leaving Cain in hospital or appearing to care about his mum’s diagnosis, one fan wrote on X – formerly Twitter: “Shouting just go Aaron just go !!!! at the TV.”

Another person added: “Aaron is beyond pathetic.”

A third went on to write: “Yeah bye then Aaron Don’t come back.”

Whilst another insisted they hated Aaron penning: “Ughh!! I hate Aaron’s character now … brutish & always sorry for himself! He needs to disappear again! (It’s ok I do know it’s all just make believe! ) #Emmerdale.”

During the episode, Chas got emotional as she finally came clean about her diagnosis.

Revealing she “lied” about her whereabouts, she said: “I’ve been lying to you all for weeks.

“But, you know, I’m not gonna lie anymore.

“I wasn’t at the dentist, I was with Liam.

“I’m not very well, I’ve got cancer.”

As the family looked on in shock, she re-affirmed: “I’ve got cancer, like mum.”

Later, as the family rallied around her, Chas revealed that every day was “precious” to her moving forward as she was comforted by her loved ones with most of them vowing to support her.

As she asked for the family to come together and “start again”, all eyes were on Aaron amid his many family feuds.Hoping that he would squash any family issues, the Dingle’s were left stunned when he failed to say anything.
