After finding fame in ITV soap Emmerdale as Jo Stiles, actress Roxanne Pallett stripped completely naked for her racy movie debut in low-budget horror movie Lake Placid 3

Emmerdale star Roxanne Pallett stripped completely naked for her movie debut over 14 years ago.

The actress, who shot to fame as Jo Stiles in the ITV soap, appeared to have no fear when it came to getting her kit off as she filmed a full-frontal, raunchy sex scene for low-budget horror movie Lake Placid 3.She made her film debut back in 2010 and X-rated scenes from the £2.3million budget, comedy horror flick resurfaced online when she entered the Celebrity Big Brother in 2018. In the film’s opening scenes, Roxanne plays a young woman called April who enjoys an alfresco romp with boyfriend Jason on the shore of Blake Lake in Maine.Filmed on location in Bulgaria, Roxanne was required to strip completely naked as she simulated sex with English actor James Marchant. The couple’s lovemaking comes to an abrupt end when first Jason, then April are mauled to death by a group of baby crocodiles.

As well as being Roxanne’s film debut, it was also the first time she had done a nude scene. The raunchy role was a far cry from her battered wife character Jo in Emmerdale, which she played for three years. After appearing in Lake Placid 3, Roxanne went gone on to star in other films, including Habit, Devil’s Tower, Wrong Turn 6: Last Resort and It’s A Lot.

Roxanne has since retreated from the limelight following her controversial stint on Celebrity Big Brother. She falsely accused fellow housemate and soap star, Ryan Thomas, of punching her during their time in the house. Roxanne refused to sleep in the same room the night of the alleged incident and confided in other contestants that she was scared of physical assault.

However, her lies quickly backfired as cameras caught the incident as it happened and there was proof Ryan had not attacked her like she had claimed. Most of the public turned on the former Emmerdale star and ended up quitting the limelight after becoming public enemy.

Ryan was traumatised by the experience and was often seen in tears while inside the house – and he was only relieved when he could hear the public chanting “Get Roxanne out!” at the subsequent eviction night. The entire incident led to over 25,000 Ofcom complaints and she later apologised on air, admitting to making a “terrible mistake.”

After the Big Brother “punchgate” scandal, Roxanne moved to the US. There, she met Jason Carrion, a New York firefighter and former star of Married at First Sight. The pair got engaged in 2019 and said their vows two months later in January 2020 at the Lutheran Evangelical Church in New York.
