Caleb Miligan will set his sights on a new target next week on Emmerdale.

The son of Faith Dingle and Frank Tate arrived in the Dales several months ago and quickly caused a stir amongst the residents, who had no idea of his true identity. He told Chas and Cain Dingle he was their sibling but kept his connection to the Tates under wraps for a while as he tried to use his son Nicky to help fleece the Tates of their livelihood.

His main target was Kim Tate as he felt he should own Home Farm, given his family connection to the prestigious estate – but Kim soon rumbled what he was hiding and stopped him from taking all her money in an explosive showdown.

Next week on the ITV soap, it looks like Caleb has a new target. Chas is left intrigued as she watches Caleb and Jai toast their new deal, but Jai is left frustrated when Caleb says he needs more money to bribe the council. He warns Caleb not to mess with him and Chas is unconvinced that the pair are actually friends as Caleb heads off to cause trouble.

He goes to Home James Haulage and leaves Will puzzled when a HRMC officer comes by and checks the vans for red diesel. Jimmy is surprised to learn the yard is under investigation as Will blames Jimmy for the red diesel. Billy is later blamed for what’s going on by an angry Will – but who is actually responsible for what happened?

Aside from his revenge, Caleb has rekindled things with his wife Ruby, played by Beth Cordingley, who has since moved to the village.

Speaking about their romance earlier this year, Beth shared: “Will Ash [Caleb] said it really well the other day – I don’t think they can live without each other. They got together when they were teenagers and they’re stuck at 16 or 17 years old, breaking up and getting back together, breaking up and so on. I do think they’re well matched – there’s obviously loads of chemistry between them – but they have a very fiery relationship. And they have these big bust-ups, so that’s obviously not great!”
