Emmerdale confirms two major exits and a funeral in 20 pictures

Emmerdale delivers the drama next week, as confirmed in my new spoiler pictures, as two major characters feature in exit storylines while a funeral brings to light unexpected news.

Kim Tate (Claire King) and Will Taylor (Dean Andrews) are on tenterhooks in the wake of Rose Jackson’s (Christine Tremarco) disappearance, struggling to hide their guilt as Dawn (Olivia Bromley) asks questions.

In a bid to throw the concerned daughter off the scent, Kim suggests sending a text from Rose’s phone to Dawn. Such a suggestion, however, sparks Will’s suspicions – has Kim played a role in Rose’s vanishing?

We’ll just have to wait and see but Will is struggling with a secret of his own, and – with tension aplenty between the couple – Kim decides to go away on a business trip to Dubai, leaving Will worried that his marriage might be over.

Kim, meanwhile, causes some chaos before setting off as she takes great glee in telling Caleb Miligan (William Ash) what his scheming wife Ruby Fox-Miligan (Beth Cordingly) has been up to!

Elsewhere in the village, Victoria Sugden (Isabel Hodgins) is delighted when Eric Pollard (Chis Chittell) offers her a job at the shop but Brenda Walker (Lesley Dunlop) is baffled by his actions, urging him instead to come clean to Vic about how it was his faulty she got fired from The Hide.

Eric ultimately does just that, with Vic left fuming.

But as the week progresses, things take an unexpected turn, with Victoria offering Eric is offered a lift to an old friend’s funeral.

Victoria puts her foot in it with a bereaved son, who leaves her shocked when he confirms that his name is John Sugden.

Eric suspects that John could be Victoria’s half-brother.

John later shows up in the villageand Victoria is delighted when he starts ruffling a few feathers.

A new era for the Sugdens is set to commence.

Emmerdale airs these scenes between Monday, August 5 and Friday, August 9 at 7:30pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
