Hayley Tamaddon, who played Delilah Dingle from 2005 to 2007, recently teased her Dales return. After getting flooded with messages from fans watching classic episodes, she confirmed she’d come back if asked. Delilah made a dramatic entrance, ditching her fiancé Jay at the altar and eventually breaking up with him.
Later, she worked as a seamstress for Val and Eric Pollard in the village but soon caught feelings for Carl King. When she found out he was still in love with her cousin Chas, she even helped him win her back. But that wasn’t the end—Delilah moved on to David Metcalfe, only to double-cross him.
Viewers must remember that she fled the village with a whopping £20,000 after their plan to steal from Eric went wrong. Recently, in response to a message on her Instagram story, the soap star shared, “Soooo many messages like this in my inbox! Ahhhh I’d return in a heartbeat.”
