Emmerdale legend returns in spoiler video – and makes a shocking discovery

Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter) heads back to the Emmerdale village soon and despite only being away for a few weeks, a lot has happened.

Shortly after her breast cancer diagnosis, Chas asked Paddy Kirk (Dominic Brunt) if she could take daughter Eve on holiday. She explained that she’d like to spend time with her making memories ahead of the cancer treatment plan when she returns.

While Chas has been away, she has missed an awful lot. There’s been Belle Dingle (Eden Taylor-Draper) and Tom King’s (James Chase) wedding, Rhona Goskirk (Zoe Henry) getting arrested for kidnap, not to mention Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) stabbing Mack Boyd (Lawrence Robb) after hallucinating the man she killed!

Chas is going to need more than a few messages on the family group chat to catch up on everything but luckily, friend Liam Cavanagh (Jonny McPherson) is – albeit accidentally – on hand to help.

In this new video, Chas is listening to Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller) update her on what’s been happening in the pub.

He jokes that Gail (Rachael Gill-Davis) is ‘on another planet’ and reckons Bear (Joshua Richards) ‘drinks more than he pours’, but it then becomes apparent Aaron has something else on his mind.

As he dashes off to the loo, Liam arrives.

It isn’t long until he’s revealing everything about Mack’s stabbing, Rhona’s plea hearing and Ruby’s (Beth Cordingly) arrival. As he chats, Aaron returns and overhears the conversation, with the look on Chas’s face being enough to confirm she had absolutely no inkling any of this had happened.

It has definitely been a ‘busy few weeks’, but how will Chas feel as she realises her family kept so much from her?

Upcoming episodes of the ITV soap will also see Chas confirm to Caleb (William Ash), Aaron and Cain that the cause of her cancer is the faulty BRCA2 gene, which means it’s in the family.

Chas urges them all to get tested, knowing it could be past onto all of their children as well, but will they all listen and organise appointments at the hospital?

If the trio all get tested, how will the Dingles react if one of them receives a positive result?
