Emmerdale legend’s death ‘sealed’ as fans beg producers not to kill him off

Things are not looking good for Emmerdale's hardman Cain Dingle as he was rushed to hospital with gruesome injuries from his fight with Aaron that has left the character on death's door

Emmerdale fans are fearing the worst for Cain Dingle as he appeared to be at death’s door during the latest episode.

After his brutal fight with his nephew Aaron the night before, Cain wanted to seek vengeance again the next day. Confronting Aaron for a second time during Friday night’s show (January 26), Cain was not in any fit state and collapsed right in front of him.

Later on, Cain was rushed to hospital and it was soon apparent that he had suffered brain damage. But some worried viewers sensed it could be the end for the Emmerdale legend and headed over to X formerly known as Twitter to share their thoughts.

One anxious spectator wrote: “Don’t you be killing Cain off.” Another said: “Looks like Aaron’s maybe going down for murder if Cain peg’s it.”

But others were certain that Cain would be fine and he was in safe hands at Hotton General. Offering an opposing view, one user said: “Cain will be fine. He will probably be out of Lourdes of Hotten by the end of Monday’s episode as if nothing happened and we go round in circles between the two and Crybaby Aaron goes back to being a professional victim at some point to mix it up a bit.

Another said: “Don’t be stupid, Cain won’t die and nothing severe is going to happen to Aaron. There’s still circles to go round.”

While a third chimed: “Cain will be fine. We would be hearing all about his exit otherwise.”

Cain and Aaron’s dispute took place after Cain warned him about stealing cars. But on Thursday night’s show, Aaron took things one step further and decided to steal Cain’s own personal vehicle.

Aaron's behaviour has been out of control

Later on in Thursday’s visit to Emmerdale, after changing the liscence plates on Cain’s car, Aaron was stopped by police. He was then questioned about the recent car thefts in the area but the police later let him go after they appeared to not have much evidence on him at the time.

When Aaron returned from police questioning, Cain decided to deal with him physically. But things reached violent heights for the pair when Aaron stuck Cain’s head with a spanner.
