Emmerdale newcomer Beth Cordingly – who plays Caleb’s wife Ruby – had another huge soap role but it ended in tragedy
Beth Cordingly recently made her arrival to Emmerdale as Caleb Milligan’s (William Ash) wife Ruby, but this isn’t the first soap she has starred in.
In Thursday’s (January 25) episode, Nate (Jurell Carter) grew suspicious and started to wonder if Caleb and Tracy (Amy Walsh) were having an affair.
Determined to find out the truth, Nate marched over to Mill Cottage and interruped Caleb kissing a woman on the sofa.
The female actually turned out to be Ruby, keeping Tracy and Caleb’s affair a secret – for now.
Morton, a cellmate of Shirley Carter’s (Linda Henry) in EastEnders back in 2017. More recently she has been seen in the Paramount series The Burning Girls.
However, back in the early 2000s, Beth became a household name in popular serial drama The Bill.
Beth portrayed PC Kerry Young from 2002-2004. Kerry’s time at Sun Hill Station ended in tragedy on October 20, 2004, when she was shot outside the station, becoming the fourth victim of the Sun Hill sniper.
