Emmerdale reveals first look as Amit Sharma tries to con Eric Pollard

Emmerdale has revealed first look photos as Amit Sharma attempts to con Eric Pollard into giving him some money.
Amit entered the village in October last year and has regularly found himself scheming as he sought to better his own life. His next target is Eric, and he makes his move next week as he begins to hear that Eric is one of the wealthiest residents in the village.
Amit slyly enquires about Eric’s financial situation and begins to set his plan in action as they raise the stakes during a game of pool.
Noticing that Eric is seemingly thrilled by the allure of competition, Amit purposefully loses the match in a bid to gain his trust.
He subsequently proposes that the pair should enter into a business partnership, but Rodney Blackstock later warns Eric to keep his wits about him around Amit.
He doesn’t heed his friend’s advice immediately, however, as he swiftly closes a deal with a manipulative Amit, but later comes to his senses as he seeks Brenda’s advice before parting with any funds.
Amit, in a bid not to seem too desperate, attempts to placate the situation whilst reassuring Eric that his money will be safe. But will Eric trust his potential business partner or listen to the advice of his trusted friends?
Amit has aroused suspicion ever since the shock death of his brother Rishi, with the schemer remarking to his solicitor that the incident helped him “out of a bind”, with fans speculating if Rishi’s death wasn’t an accident after all.
