Emmerdale spoiler video: Angelica broken as Jimmy and Nicola King receive major news
Angelica King (Rebecca Bakes) is given some daunting news in Emmerdale soon following her confession about Heath Hope’s (Sebastian Dowling) death.
Heath died at the start of this year following a car crash. In the initial aftermath, Angelica failed to tell anyone that she was driving the car and let Cathy (Gabrielle Dowling) take the fall.
On the day of Heath’s funeral, however, Angelica’s guilt got the better of her and she confessed to mum Nicola (Nicola Wheeler) that she was responsible for Heath’s death.
The revelation panicked Jimmy (Nick Miles) and Nicola a great deal. At first, they were willing to play dirty and do whatever they could to prevent Angelica from going to prison, but it was a comment from Ethan (Emile John) that forced the parents to accept the Judge would give their child a custodial sentence.
This new video shows the Kings enjoying a cooked breakfast at home. While they enjoy the food, the treat leaves Angel feeling suspicious so she asks what’s going on.
With no choice, Jimmy and Nicola reveal that her sentencing date is March 13 – it’s very soon indeed.
The massive news leaves Angelica terrified but brother Elliot tries to make her feel better by suggesting she won’t be taken away at all.
Jimmy tries to tell his children that they need to be brave but poor Angelica, at the centre of this all, tells her dad that she doesn’t like being brave and starts to break down.
It appears Angelica’s time in the village is coming to an end – but has her fate been completely sealed after news of the sentencing date?
‘We must remember that while Nicola does have three children Angelica is her biological baby girl’, Nicola Wheeler reflected.
‘I think like any parent it becomes about will your child cope? What will happen to your child? Who will they be when they come out of this mess?
‘There’s all that sort of thing going on. But I think the biggest thing is guilt because she can’t protect her child from this. As much as she is desperately trying to, and it’s why Jimmy and her make mistakes.
‘They make huge mistakes and they realise afterwards the mistakes they’ve made and they hold their hands up and they are truly sorry for them.
