Actress Confirms Her Troubled Character’s Comeback
ITV star Rebecca Bakes has revealed when her character Angelica King will be back on the show. Earlier this year, Angelica, Cath, and Heath Hope got into a car accident. Consequently, Heath lost his life due to his severe injuries. After the tragic loss, Bob and Cathy were heartbroken.
Moreover, Cathy had to prove to her dad that she wasn’t the one driving when the crash happened. Following Heath’s funeral, Angelica finally admitted to Nicola that Cathy was telling the truth all along. Back in March, Angelica was sent to a secure children’s home in Bristol for eight long months.

During this period, we’ve heard some updates on her time at home. At first, Angelica was bullied by other kids, but now she’s causing even more trouble. Her behaviour is so bad that it’s driving the adults crazy. This comes as a shock to Jimmy and Nicola, as Angel has always been a well-behaved kid.
Finally, they’ll be able to encounter their daughter, who is about to return soon. During a conversation with Digital Spy at the Radio Times Soap Awards, the actress hinted that Angelica’s return is expected by the end of September. She mentioned that while it could be a few months away, they hadn’t begun filming yet.

She also shared that she was informed beforehand that she would be the driver in the storyline. However, Nicola and Jimmy have been away from the spotlight since their daughter’s exit. The 10,000th episode of the soap was the only occasion they were active. It revolved around the village fete, which Nicola organised.
