Next week, Ella Forster drops a pregnancy bombshell. However, Liam Cavanagh thinks she is faking it. The local doctor is struggling with the idea of being a father again. Consequently, he harshly pushes Ella away when she tries to talk to him. Meanwhile, Mandy Dingle calls out Liam’s bad behaviour.
However, later, Liam humiliates Ella by demanding a paternity test. As the week continues, the newcomer reluctantly agrees to Liam’s demands and invites Mandy to join her for her scan. Later, while working, she suddenly experiences stomach cramps, which worries Vanessa.
The next day, Paddy tries to contact Liam before Ella’s scan, but Ella refuses. However, due to transportation difficulties, he ends up joining her at the scan anyway. But shocking, the sonographer fails to find a foetus. This prompts the GP to validate his accusation about Ella’s fake pregnancy.
He even confides in Paddy regarding Ella’s deceit in reaching a ‘new low.’ Previously, star Jonny McPherson hinted at the complicated future of Liam and Ella’s relationship. After discovering that Ella had murdered her friend as a child, Liam felt utterly betrayed and very upset.
