Emmerdale Tom King’s sick plan for Belle revealed as downfall ‘let slip’ in trailer
Emmerdale viewers will see Tom King take sickening action once more against Belle Dingle next week ahead of the ITV soap's disturbing abuse storyline coming to an end
Tom King will target Belle Dingle on Emmerdale again next week, leading to sickening scenes on the ITV soap.
After months of coercive control and abuse, Belle is struggling to expose Tom’s vile ways. With her family worried about her mental health after she appeared to suffer a breakdown recently, after months of torment from Tom, Belle is yet to expose her ordeal to anyone.
Viewers are convinced that is about to change and that Tom’s downfall is set, after a new trailer hinted she would finally confide in someone. In recent months, Tom has mentally and physically abused his wife, manipulating her, stalking her and making her lash out.
He’s set up cameras in her home, and recently he ran over her dog on purpose. Belle thinks Piper is dead, but Tom actually gave her away.
With Belle struggling to cope yet not telling anyone about the abuse, next week reaches a point where she may finally expose what he’s done. He pushes her too far when she realises exactly what he is capable of, with him possibly exposing the fact he has hacked into her laptop and her emails.

Soon a dramatic showdown ensues between Belle and Tom, resulting in a special episode that sees Belle realise her possible futures if things do not change. Prior to this, Belle will make a chilling discovery that could expose Tom.
Amid fans being convinced the recent trailer shows Belle confiding in Charity Dingle or Lydia Hart about her abuse, with the next scene seeing Tom being attacked, an upcoming episode sees the villain drop himself in it. Belle is devastated to be told by email that there will be no disclosure following her Clare’s Law Application.
Watching her from the cameras, Tom enjoys her distress and he later gives Belle a coded comment that alerts her to his knowledge of the results of her private email. He also reminds her of some exposing photos he could release of Belle in a sinister threat.
Belle’s soon distraught to realise the password to access her photos has been changed by Tom, and he seemingly has access to her devices and content. But will Belle use this evidence to expose Tom’s abuse?
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7:30pm on ITV1 and ITVX, with an hour-long episode on Thursdays.
