Emmerdale’s Kerry Wyatt prays for a miracle in new spoiler video – but it’s who she’s praying to that’s of real interest

Kerry Wyatt (Laura Norton) is in a pretty desperate situation in Emmerdale, to the point where she feels she has no choice but to pray for a miracle – though she doesn’t go about it in the most conventional way, as a new spoiler video shows.

Amy Wyatt and Matty Barton (Natalie Ann Jamieson and Ash Palmisciano) are set to get married next week, though little do they know, Kerry has been unable to pay for the wedding.

She is totally desperate to pull the money together, and hopes she can make a few quid by selling her precious diamond necklace.

In order to give herself the best chance, she lights some candles and kneels down to pray at a shrine of none other than the goddess of music herself: Cher.

Viewers will know that Cher has a special place in Kerry’s heart, given that she spent months impersonating her on a cruise ship, and she is desperately hoping that she will come to her rescue in her time of need.

Just as Kerry finishes her ritual, begging her idol to Cher the love, Amy and Matty arrive ahead of their wedding rehearsal.

As Amy and Matty express their concerns about what wedding planner Suzy Merton (Martelle Edinborough) may have in store for them, Kerry declines a call from her, knowing that she is trying to track her down for payment.

Kerry is quick to inform the happy couple that she is popping into town for a last minute wedding gift, but assures her concerned daughter that she will be back in time for the rehearsal.

As Kerry heads off to try and sell her necklace, will she make enough to pay for the wedding, or is everything set to come crashing down?
