Emmerdale’s Mackenzie exit ‘sealed’ as fans predict chilling serial killer twist

Emmerdale fans believe they have seen the last of Scottish hunk Mackenzie Boyd after Charity Dingle accidentally stabbed him with a knife after he woke her from a nightmare

Emmerdale fans are convinced Mackenzie Boyd will die in theatre after his wife Charity Dingle stabbed him with a knife.

Over the past few weeks, the blonde bombshell (played by Emma Atkinson) has been suffering with depression and PTSD. The doting mum has battled with nightmares and flashbacks after her horrifying incident with Harry over Christmas.

ITV fans will remember how Charity became a killer when she rushed to save Mack after he was kidnapped by the crazed madman. She star found him beaten black and blue in an abandoned warehouse with plans to finish him off for goof after his relationship with his daughter Chloe Harris.

When Charity arrived, she immediately rushed to her husband’s aid and wrestled Harry for the gun which went off and hit Harry, ultimately taking his life. Since then, Chloe has left the village with her and Mack’s son and Charity has been secretly struggling to come to terms with her actions.

Things quickly went from bad to worse on Thursday (February 22) when Mack gently woke her up from a horrible nightmare. Shocked at his appearance, she accidentally stabbed him in the stomach with a kitchen knife which she took to bed to help her sleep.

Now, viewers are convinced that the hunk won’t make it after his wife left him for dead, shocked by her violent actions. Thankfully, Mack’s sister Moira popped round in the nick of time and called an ambulance as she attempted to stop the bleeding.

Later on in the episode, Mack was rushed to hospital in an ambulance, while Charity was arrested for his attempted murder. While Charity was being thrown into a dingy cell, her husband was fighting for his life.

At the end of the show, the Scottish hunk was being wheeled into theatre to help fix his damaged bowel as Moira and Cain struggled to hold back tears. After watching the dramatic scenes unfold, fans flooded to X – formerly known as Twitter – to share their theories online.

One user penned: “Noooo! My baby Mack, please don’t die! # emmerdale.” Another agreed: “I really don’t want Mackenzie to die… I know everyone finds him annoying, but… #emmerdale.”

A third pointed out: “Think about the final words Mack and Charity said: ‘Sweet dreams, I love you’. Should we take this as a big hint that Mack will NOT survive and be killed off? #Emmerdale.”

A fourth chimed in with: “If Mack dies that will be the second person Charity has killed, one more and she will qualify as a serial killer #emmerdale.”
