Emmerdale’s Tom King star spent day on ITV soap set in nothing but dressing gown

Emmerdale hunk James Chasing spent his first day on the ITV set wearing nothing but a dressing gown.

The 27-year-old actor first arrived in the village last September and it’s fair to say he has certainly turned heads in the village. It didn’t take long before his character fell for auburn beauty Belle Dingle – but in recent months their relationship has hit the rocks.

Over the past few weeks, fans have been glued to their screens as the betrothed puts the final touches on their big day. It’s fair to say the pair have had a difficult start to their marriage when Belle rejected his proposal back in October.

But no one was expecting Tom to react so violently when he lashed out at her in response. Viewers were shocked when he smacked her across the face which threw her to the ground and cut her face.

After Tom made up for his actions, Belle took their relationship to the next level when she popped the question one month later. With their big day just days away, tensions have been rising between the pair after Tom confessed he hated her wedding dress.

As they prepare for the big day, Daily Star has taken a look back on his first on the actor’s first day on the ITV set. Taking to Instagram, the hunk could be seen in his dressing room wearing nothing but a grey fluffy dressing gown.

He could be seen drinking a warming cup of tea as he threw a sultry smoulder to the camera. In another snap he could be seen looking off into the distance as he gave viewers a peak at his bare chest underneath.

The young actor captioned the post: “Friday filming on set was a vibe… In a dressing gown [two cry-laughing emojis].” Away from the cobbles, the hunk shared a gallery of lavish holiday snaps just a few months later when he jetted off to the heart of Sicily in between filming.

The soap star could be seen strutting through the streets taking a stroll along the coast in a pair of blue shorts and a red T-shirt. He accessorised the ensemble with a pair of black sunglasses.

He left his loyal legion of fans green with envy as he documented some of the scrumptious meals he enjoyed, including mouth-watering pasta dishes as well as a cheeky ice cream in the mid-day sun.

Just two days before his character walks down the aisle, fans are convinced that the hunk is “in disguise”. This year, the star has been gracing the red carpets at the National Television Awards, the British Soap Awards and the TV Choice Awards.

The actor dressed up to the nines in a suave black tuxedo which he paired with a bow tie and a pair of patent leather dress shoes. Most recently, the ITV soap walked away with two gongs from the TV Choice Awards.

During the star-studded awards night, the long-running programme was awarded Best Soap and Best Soap Actor which Jeff Hordley – who plays Cain Dingle – walked away with. Fans will have to stay tuned to watch the fallout of Tom’s explosive wedding to Belle later this week.
