FAMILY FEUD Emmerdale’s Dingle family blown apart as one member walks out on Chas after heart-wrenching cancer confession
Will the family ever be the same again?
EMMERDALE’s tightest-knit family were left blown apart after Chas Dingle shared all about her tragic battle with breast cancer.
Chas decided to come clean on Emmerdale about the news she had received after facing heat from her family for not being present at the hospital when Cain Dingle woke up after his collapse.
The family had been facing turmoil after Aaron and Cain became locked in a heated feud with one another.
Aaron, played by Danny Miller, had attacked Cain and let him with multiple facial injuries as their confrontation reached its peak.
Not one to back down, the head of the Dingle clan attempted to furiously confront him the next day but was soon left plummeting to the ground when he suffered a shock collapse and was left fighting for his life in hospital.
During tonight’s episode, Cain came around and the doctors said that he should remain in hospital for the foreseeable in order to be monitored as they sought to offer him the best care.
Chas was missing in action as she spent time with Liam to talk through her diagnosis.
Having been diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer, Chas was left fearing that it was hereditary and that she needed gene testing to see if the whole family was suffering from it as a result of it being the same cancer that killed her mum, Faith.
She also recalled how another family member dies which she now presumed to have been the same thing.
Amidst the panic, Liam told Chas that she should be honest with her family and tell them about her diagnosis and worry about dealing with the gene testing later on.
Realising he was right, with all the family, including Cain and Aaron, in the pub, she finally came clean about why she had been distant,
Revealing she “lied” about her whereabouts, she said: “I’ve been lying to you all for weeks.
“But, you know, I’m not gonna lie anymore.
“I wasn’t at the dentist, I was with Liam.
“I’m not very well, I’ve got cancer.”
As the family looked on in shock, she re-affirmed: “I’ve got cancer, like mum.”
Later, as the family rallied around her, Chas revealed that every day was “precious” to her moving forward as she was comforted by her loved ones with most of them vowing to support her.
As she asked for the family to come together and “start again”, all eyes were on Aaron amid his many family feuds.
Hoping that he would squash any family issues, the Dingle’s were left stunned when he failed to say anything.
Tearing the family apart, he stormed out of The Woolpack leading Chas to chase after him and beg for him to comeback.
Is this the final straw for Aaron and the Dingle clan?
