Emmerdale aired a big secret about Ella Forster tonight as Leyla Harding found out the truth.
Mysterious Ella arrived in the village a few months back and it soon became obvious that she was hiding something. Whilst Leyla suspects she is up to no good, Liam – who is dating her – seems unaware that she has something to hide.
few weeks back, Paula confirmed Ella is hiding something huge – and is connected to a lady called June. She teased: “Ella does have a past that is going to be revealed. She does have responsibilities elsewhere outside the village that mean a great deal to her and I’m so looking forward to exploring this further. When something or someone so important to her is put at risk she will fight so hard to protect that situation. This is a part of her we’ve yet to see and there is currently a lot at stake and a lot to fight for.”

Some fans are convinced she could be connected to serial killer Meena Jutla, who murdered multiple people in the village before she was sentenced to life in prison. But could she be somehow connected to Ella, and is she making a return?
When she arrived in the Dales, Paula teased that she would be at the centre of a love triangle – as things heated up between her and Liam, whilst he still had a strong interest in Chas Dingle.
“There’s already been a relationship going on there at the minute in the surgery. So I don’t know. There might be some fireworks, there’s a little bit of competition, perhaps. Little love triangle going on. But behind closed doors, who knows what can happen. So there’s a brand new set that we’re actually building, surgery is going to be on Main Street. And that’s when all this character will kind of come in, I’m going to be at the heart of the village, working out the new surgery,” she explained.
However, in a surprise twist this evening, Leyla revealed to Suzy that she had got a picture of Ella and another girl. However, she turned it over and read out the two names on the back – Ruth and Joanne. So why is Ella using a fake name?
