ITV Emmerdale fans make demand as they spot huge change in fan favourite Moira Dingle

Emmerdale fans have made a demand after spotting a big change in Moira Dingle recently.

Moira – played by Natalie J Robb – is a fan favourite on the ITV soap and is always at the centre of proceedings being married to Cain Dingle. She took a key role in the storyline which saw Cain’s son Kyle arrested for the death of Al Chapman, supporting the family through Cain’s prison ordeal when he decided to take the rap for what his son had done.

However, Moira was missing from the wedding last week, which saw Tom King and Belle Dingle tie the knot. But the reception soon descended into chaos when Ruby outed Tracy and Caleb’s affair, leading to a punch up between Caleb and his uncle.

Fans have now made a demand about Moira’s return to the show, after spotting a big change in the character. One wrote: “#emmerdale what’s up with Moira’s hair that she’s having to wear a cap all the time?!” whilst a second added: “Will Moira have a new hat though? #emmerdale.” A third penned: “Obsessed with Moira continuing to wear a cap indoors #Emmerdale.”

A fourth shared: “On another matter – why is ‘Moira’ wearing a hat ALL the time?” with a fifth adding: “Ok what the hell is going on in emmerdale? and Moira looking like a t*** in numerous hats.” A sixth shared: “Looking forward to tomorrow night to see what Moira will be wearing,” as a seventh wrote: “Does Moira not like her new haircut? That’s usually when someone starts wearing hats.”

It comes after producer Laura Shaw revealed to The Mirror that Moira Dingle will have one of her biggest secrets exposed this year. Speaking about what’s to come, she said: “It’s a secret from her past. She does it in a way to try and help the person that she’s talking to, but how is that person going to react when they find out Moira’s deepest, darkest secret? If they blow it, it could threaten Moira’s whole life. So I’ll leave you to guess what that secret from the past might be.”

Some fans are convinced this could be Mack is actually her son and not her brother. We know Moira was born in April 1971, making her 52 years old, but we are less clear about the age of her brother Mack. He is the son of Ann Boyd and her husband and was thought to have been born around 1983, which would make Moira 12-years-old when Mack was born.

EastEnders recently aired a pregnancy storyline for Lily Slater, who was 12-years-old when she conceived her child, so it’s very plausible that Moira could have been Mack’s mum, even if she was 12 at the time.
