ITV Emmerdale fans ‘screaming at the TV’ after harrowing new Belle Dingle and Tom King scene

Emmerdale fans were left screaming at the TV after a new Tom King and Belle Dingle scene.

In heartbreaking scenes yesterday evening, Belle was burned by her husband when he forced her hand under a boiling hot water tap after he found out that she had been lying about taking her contraception.

After the others left the dinner party following Rhona Ghoskirk and Marlon Dingle’s row, Tom and Belle were left alone where he horrifically shouted at her and made her seem like she was wrong, before physically hurting her in heartbreaking scenes.

Tonight, she ended up apologising to Tom for what had happened and they toasted to their future together, in a devastating turn of events for Belle – as her future is at risk from all that is going on.

Taking to social media, one fan wrote: “When is Tom going to be exposed!! I’m getting so frustrated with this storyline #emmerdale,” whilst a second added: “Very sad to see bell crawl back to Tom, just awful to watch #Emmerdale.” A third wrote: “Tell someone Belle because I find it hard not throw something at my tv when Tom is on it. #Emmerdale.

“The more Belle apologises the further he’ll push her #emmerdale,” a fourth wrote, with a fifth adding: “This Tom storyline will drag on with no one noticing how broken Belle is until it’s too late #Emmerdale.”

Speaking about what’s been going on, Eden Taylor-Draper – who plays Belle – said: “So from the minute they got married, Tom was very quick to bring up having a baby. Belle quite clearly said, let’s slow down. I think Tom put the pressure on by saying, well, I don’t have a family, you are my family and I want a family. This is my dream. Belle, after quite a few episodes of him pushing for it, says, okay, yeah, we can have a baby. And straight after that it’s like, what am I doing? I don’t want to have a baby right now.

“I don’t think Belle quite realises herself that she knows she doesn’t want to have a baby with him. I think she just thinks I’m too young and I’ve got too much going on. She goes to see Manpreet to organise collecting her pill so Tom doesn’t find out, which is huge for her. I think that’s the first time she’s done something that she thinks if he finds out, this would be terrible.”

James Chase – who plays Tom King – added: “No one has any idea. Tom is a master of performance, able to hide his true feelings and convey something very different to get people on his side. Also, Rhona and Marlon’s rising tension only helps to disguise things.”
