The young Dingle is trapped in a harrowing and terrifying marriage with Tom King, who goes to extreme lengths tonight to keep his wife close. Tom has been gaslighting his wife for weeks, insisting she is the problem – but that is far from the truth.

In harrowing scenes tonight, Tom decided he needed to know where Belle was at all times and stole her phone so he could track her location with his own. Right at the end of episode, he spoke to Belle in a worrying phone call about her day, before he pulled out his phone and checked where she was, seeing that she was at a hotel in Leeds.

Belle has had a rough romantic past, having previously dated the likes of Lachlan White and Jamie Tate, and it looks like things are only set to get worse for Belle as she’s taken in by Tom’s gaslighting of her.

Fans are now fearful that history is just repeating itself with Belle, after her past failed romances. And now fans are even more concerned after noticing a clue in tonight’s episode which ‘proves’ Belle will die. One fan said: “Tom is a psychopath. I think belle will be in grave danger with this k***head. #Emmerdale,” whilst a second wrote: “That creepy killer look on Tom’s face WTH #Emmerdale.”

In some terrifying scenes on their wedding day, Tom criticised Belle for wanting to read a special letter from her mum. Blaming her for what happened to the wedding, he said: “Every time I’ve tried to get close to you today, to enjoy our day, all you’ve done is bang on about that, your family. And yet you can never see it. Sam cutting the photos short because he couldn’t stop moaning that he was hungry, Nate starting a punch up and trashing the place.

“You know what, it doesn’t even matter because your family had already turned it into a junkyard with that tatty banner and that filthy boot on our table. And then we have Mandy looking like a slob. I thought we might have one day where it was about us, one day where you actually considered putting me first. You just let your family ride roughshod, take over and ruin over the entire thing.”
