ITV Emmerdale fans ‘work out’ sinister Ella Forster twist after ‘suspicious’ scene
Emmerdale viewers have been left suspicious over newcomer Ella Forster after a cryptic scene in the doctor's surgery earlier this week on the ITV soap
Emmerdale fans think they have figured out a “sinister” Ella Forster twist on the hit ITV soap.
Earlier this year, feisty newcomer Ella made her village debut, where she stood up for Mandy Dingle at the vets social after loud-mouthed managing director, Jules, rudely teased the latter about her outfit. Later at the event, after Jules was rude to Ella and continued to tease Mandy, a furious Ella poured a drink over him and announced she was quitting her job.
After the commotion, Ella met up with Mandy, where she admitted she was worried about having no job. Later, Ella left to go as she declared she was off to find a new job, which was overheard by Manpreet Sharma. After Manpreet realised that Ella is a PA, she offered her a position as a receptionist at the doctor’s, where she has worked every since.
Earlier this week, doctor Liam Cavanagh shared a charged moment with Ella as they flirted while entering the surgery together. However, Manpreet wasn’t impressed with a potential blossoming romance developing between her co-workers as she held a meeting about “appropriate behaviour in the workplace”, making Wendy Posner, who previously had an affair with Liam, listen in too.
Soap watchers were left confused over the scene, questioning whether Manpreet may fancy Liam herself but others were quick to speculate about a sinister twist involving Ella. Taking to social media, one person said: “Is Manpreet getting jealous about Liam and the receptionist???” to which another account replied: “No I think she is suspicious of her and starts digging into her history!”
Elsewhere, a different soap watcher put: “I have a feeling that the receptionist knows meena!”, another wrote: “she is too sweet to be true”, a different account said: “Why do I get the feeling Ella has killed her husband or something… #emmerdale” while another added: “I’m eager for emmerdale to give Ella a decent storyline soon seen as she’s kinda just in the background atm except for the Liam story…cos Paula Lane will smash whatever. She’s such a pro #emmerdale.” Could Ella be too good to be true or is she just simply lining up a Liam romance?
