Emmerdale fans are convinced they’ve rumbled Nicky Milligan and Suni Sharma’s exit storyline.

Earlier this month, it was reported that Nicky and Suni, played by Lewis Cope and Brahmdeo Shannon Ramana, were leaving the soap. The on-screen fan favourite couple have reportedly already filmed their exit scenes and will bow out of the ITV soap in a surprise exit this summer, claims The Sun.

It comes after Ethan Anderson, played by Emile John, left the soap recently after his character was killed off in a shock exit last month while Samson Dingle, played by Sam Hall, is also said to be leaving the ITV soap soon. Nicky was first introduced to Emmerdale in December 2022 while Suni made his debut in July 2023.

Taking to social media, viewers have already predicted Nicky and Suni’s exit storyline. Only recently, Nicky has been struggling with his parents’ betrayal and he recently floated the idea of moving away with Suni. On Thursday’s episode, Suni asked Laurel Thomas for advice about what to do with eager-to-leave Nicky.

Laurel told Suni that Jai would be devastated if he were to leave now and reminded him of the importance of compromise in his relationship. However, later in the episode, Laurel confronted husband Jai about his and Eric Pollard’s suspicious behaviour. Soap fans will recall that Eric is blackmailing Jai over what happened with his biological father, Amit, earlier in the year. Jai made Amit leave the village and he also made him cut other son, Suni, out of any ownership of the HOP, signing over all the shares to just him.

In spoilers for next week, Jai admits to Laurel that he can’t face telling his brother Suni the truth, leaving Laurel furious. Viewers now think that Suni will somehow find out the truth, resulting in him leaving the village with Nicky. Taking to Twitter, now X, one person said: “I can definitely see Suni leaving the village over what happened with Amit! Only a matter of time before Suni finds out the truth #Emmerdale” wile a different account added: “So Laurel does find out what Jai did to Amit over Easter next week – once Suni finds out that’s him off with Nicky then!”

Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7:30pm on ITV1 and ITVX, with an hour-long episode on Thursdays.
