Emmerdale fans will be seeing a new feud next week on the ITV soap.

Ruby Fox-Milligan, the fiery estranged wife of Caleb Milligan, showed up in the village earlier this year and has wasted no time in creating a slew of enemies, especially after learning about Caleb’s affair with Tracy Metcalfe which she took delight in exposing to the stunned Dingles earlier this year.

In upcoming scenes, Ruby will find herself embroiled in a new feud with her actions impacting several villagers during a heartbreaking storyline. Spoilers for next week reveal that Ruby is left furious when sister-in-law Moira Dingle accidentally splashes her while driving.

Later, on a single-track road, the duo come face-to-face where they both refuse to back down, which causes a tense stand off. However, their actions impact other villagers as Will Taylor and Kim Tate get caught up in the crossfire amid a heartbreaking storyline for their family.

Prior to being caught up in the feud, Will’s daughter Dawn Fletcher and husband Billy Fletcher are left devastated when their baby son, Evan, is rushed to hospital after spotting a bruise on the youngster’s leg.

At the hospital, a paediatrician explains that he is a very sick baby and Billy later explains to Will back home that Evan could have an infection, autoimmune disease or even something like Leukaemia. Obviously, Will and Kim rush to hospital after the news but due to Ruby and Moira’s feud, they get caught up on the lane.

Later, after the road feud, Caleb insists Ruby apologise to those involved. However, it’s very clear to see that the feud isn’t over as Ruby starts a vicious rumour about Moira. What is the rumour and how will Moira react?

Earlier this year, former The Bill star Beth Cordingly joined the cast of Emmerdale playing Ruby, making her debut on screen in January. Actress Beth said at the time of joining the soap: “I’m delighted to be joining the cast of Emmerdale, it’s an enormous privilege and Ruby is a dream role. She’s a firecracker and a trouble-maker and I think people will love her or hate her, and I can’t wait to get stuck in with this fabulous cast.”Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7:30pm on ITV1 and ITVX, with an hour-long episode on Thursdays.
