Look out Moira! Emmerdale’s Ruby will stop at nothing as she plots vicious revenge

Moira Dingle (Natalie J Robb) had quite the day in Thursday’s (May 2) episode of Emmerdale.

It started off by splashing Ruby Fox-Miligan (Beth Cordingly) as she drove through a puddle, something she found incredibly amusing. She then had to remind son Isaac (Bobby Dunsmuir) of the consequences that come with running a farm and looking after cute little lambs.

As she headed off, Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) was tasked with sorting the washing out and also taking Isaac to school – two simple tasks he didn’t manage.

Let’s hope Isaac’s new pet Minty the lamb settles in well.

Back out on the country roads, Moira came across Ruby again. She was off into Leeds to do some retail therapy but once she realised Moira was in the vehicle in front of her, she refused to move.

The somewhat petty back and forth ended due to the arrival of Will Taylor (Dean Andrews). He was driving out of the village and to the hospital to see his grandson Evan, who is unwell.

When he arrived at Ruby and Moira’s standstill, he got out of his car and tried to ease his stress levels.

This was spotted by Ruby and Moira and once they learnt about Will’s situation, they moved.

Later, in the pub, once Ruby arrived, she continued to bicker with her new enemy, which started to annoy Cain, Caleb Miligan (William Ash) and Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter).

After a chat with her husband, Ruby approached Moira and, standby for this…

She apologised.

In truly shocking and unexpected scenes, the two characters even managed to hug each other – and then the real Ruby Fox-Miligan returned.

Ruby and Moira both agreed the apology was just a show for their family – they absolutely were not, under no circumstances, friends.

Ruby then told her in-law that she would leave her to go home now – but not without one last dig, of course.

Pleased with how things went, Ruby walked away after telling Moira the way she smelt after a day on the farm was making her feel sick.
