Recent Emmerdale scenes saw Moira Dingle (Natalie J Robb) leave the village for Norfolk against Cain Dingle’s (Jeff Hordley) wishes, to purchase a new bull for the farm.

Over the past couple of weeks, Cain has grown increasingly concerned by Moira’s unpredictable behaviour, while fans of the show have worried that she may be suffering with some kind of health issue.

Earlier this month, she began to feel unwell, and was left shocked when Matty Barton (Ash Palmisciano) woke her up from a nap that she couldn’t remember laying down to take.

Surrounding this, her moods have been unpredictable and her behaviour out of character, leaving her scrapping with Cain on more than one occasion, and refusing to see a doctor.

With Moira having left for Norfolk, Cain was eager to know when she would be back, but frustratingly Moira was ignoring his calls. This angered him, and he began to take things out on his sons.

Later, things got even worse when Kyle Winchester (Huey Quinn) divulged that Moira had texted to inform him that she wouldn’t be coming home at all that day, leaving Cain furious.

This caused him to reach for a can, which Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter) pointed out was hypocritical given that he had previously confronted Moira with suspicions she had a drink problem.

Cain was quick to brush off her concerns, insisting that Moira could do what she wanted and he had probably been overreacting, though Chas wasn’t so sure.

Is Cain right to do a U-turn on his concerns over Moira’s health, or is there really something to worry about?

Speculation is rife among fans, with some predicting she is going through the menopause, while other’s worry that she may have a brain tumour or early on-set dementia.

Will she visit a doctor and get answers before it’s too late?
