EMMERDALE’S Jai Sharma crashes his stepson Arthur Thomas’ date.
Arthur returned to Emmerdale and helped diffuse the tensions between his mum Laurel Thomas and stepdad Jai Sharma’s divorce proceedings.
Next week on the ITV soap, Arthur will focus on his own love life and Jai crashes his first date.
Upcoming scenes will see Charles encourage Jai to do whatever it takes to maintain a relationship with Arthur.
But Jai’s defeated when Arthur continues to ignore him.
The next day, Arthur welcomes his date, Lewis, into Mulberry.
There’s a nervous energy as they open a beer, unsure what to do next.
A while later, Jai spots Arthur and Lewis stealthily disposing of their empty beer cans.
When Lewis awkwardly leaves, Arthur worries that Jai might tell Laurel about his date.
Meanwhile, Ryan’s gutted to hear that Gail’s keen to find a new place but wants to live alone.
Will he be able to convince her to move in with him?
Dawn confronts Billy about the money she found.
Brushing it off as savings for a surprise, Billy is forgiven.
But when Dawn goes back upstairs, shifty Billy calls someone to ask for more work.
And Jimmy and Lydia bicker about the accusations against Tom.
