Rhona Goskirk (Zoe Henry) receives news that leaves her absolutely crushed in a new Emmerdale spoiler video.

Rhona has grown besotted with baby Ivy, who she took custody of when Gus Malcolms (Alan McKenna) struggled to cope following the loss of his wife in childbirth.

While Rhona is Ivy’s biological mother, after Gus used the embryos they had stored without Rhona’s permission, she has no legal claim over the child, meaning that she always knew eventually Ivy would go back to living with Gus.

Unfortunately for Rhona, it seems that that time may be sooner rather than later, as the new spoiler video reveals.

Rhona arrives at the Woolpack having been summoned by Marlon Dingle (Mark Charnock) and Gus, and her guard is instantly raised.

She is tense as Gus reveals he wants to talk things through, revealing that he can see how much Ivy means to her and how difficult it is going to be to let her go.

Rhona bristles as she admits that she doesn’t like where this is going, as Gus explains that he thinks he is ready to step up as Ivy’s dad more.

He explains that, despite their original plan to take things slow, he feels ready to have her over night.

Rhona is instantly opposed to the idea, and argues that it isn’t the right time, but Gus stands his ground, deciding that they need to put a plan in place so that he can have Ivy back full time.

Things are only set to get more dramatic following these events, as Rhona learns that Gus plans on moving to France, meaning that she won’t be able to see Ivy again.

When Marlon returns home later in the week, he is horrified to find Rhona and baby Ivy missing.
