The actress previously told us she would be up for making a comeback
LISA Riley has sparked rumours an Emmerdale legend is returning to the soap.
The 47-year-old, who plays fan favourite Mandy Dingle in Emmerdale, took to Instagram to share a snap from the sweet reunion.
Alongside the new photo of her with Adele Silva, Lisa posted an incredible throwback of them in character as Mandy and Kelly Windsor.
She wrote: “On the left 27 years ago on @emmerdale on the right TONIGHT gorgeous catch-up and dinner @gino.leeds with my life long friend @silvaliningx getting older yet getting more giddy.”
Rans rushed to comment on the post – and they were all saying the same thing.
One wrote: “Bring her back!” Another said: “Kelly should return to Emmerdale.”
And a third added: “Imagine the scenes if Kelly came back now.”
End of an era
Adele, 43, first appeared on the show in 1993 but Kelly left for good for good in 2011.
Kelly quickly became one of the soap’s most popular characters, with Adele picking up several awards including sexiest female at the 2008 British Soap Awards.

During her final storyline scheming Kelly took advantage of ex-husband Jimmy King’s amnesia – caused after she attacked him – and attempted to steal him from partner Nicola.
Eventually told Jimmy that he either left with her and their son Elliot or he would never see him again.
After Jimmy chose to stay with Nicola, Kelly and Elliot drove away from the village.
But she still has ties there, with Elliot [Luca Hoyle] currently living in the village having returned without Kelly in 2016.
Speaking to The Sun previously, Adele insisted she’d never rule out making a comeback.
She said: “I’d definitely go back if they asked me.
“Obviously, Kelly’s son is there and she’s not seen him for years.
“Then there’s little April. You can imagine Marlon’s face if her auntie Kelly turned up. He’d be horrified.”
Adele continued: “Mandy was Kelly’s best friend and there’s the history she has with Kim Tate [Claire King].
“I just love Kim, you always know she’s going to be at the heart of an incredible storyline.”
Life after Emmerdale
Shortly after leaving Emmerdale Kelly was spotted working in Ted Baker on Melrose Avenue in Los Angeles – amid speculation her dreams of a Hollywood career had failed.
But she later insisted: “I never, ever said I was going to crack Hollywood.
“I was taking time out, travelling and living in New York and Los Angeles. I knew the manager and as I love clothes, I thought it would be a nice way to meet people because it’s hard to make friends in a place like LA. It can be isolating. I did a drama course for the same reason.”
In 2015 Adele landed a role in Hollyoaks, appearing as Angela Brown – who was interested in adopting Peri Lomax’s daughter Steph.
In the same year Adele welcomed welcomed her first child, a daughter called Sienna.
