STRIKE AGAIN Emmerdale ‘killer’ Amit Sharma chooses new victim in horrifying scheme
The villain targets a legend in the Dales.
AMIT Sharma has another trick up his sleeve after it was recently revealed he may have killed his brother Rishi after all.
Next week, the supposed killer turns to one of Emmerdale’s longest-standing residents as he comes up with a horrific scheme.
Former EastEnders star Anil Goutam has been leaving ITV viewers on the edge of their seats after taking on the role of mysterious and clearly treacherous Amit Sharma.
In recent scenes of the Yorkshire-based program, Amit denied having anything to do with Rishi Sharma’s death as his biological son Jai (Chris Bisson) kept accusing him of murder.
Amit tried to fix the bond with Jai by including him in his will and leaving him and other son Suni his shares of the Hop.
But just as things started looking up, Amit implicitly revealed he was capable of the worst and hints of his involvement in Rishi’s death have been dropped left, right and centre.
Coming up next week, Amit shows how much of a villain he can really be by aiming to take advantage of Dales legend Eric Pollard, played by Chris Chittell.
Could the shopkeeper see right through Amit?
It all begins when Amit enquires about Pollard’s wealth and forms a cunning plan.
During their pool match, Amit and Pollard raise the stakes by betting money on their next game.
Amit’s pleased to see Pollard is exhilarated by the prospect of the competition and, keen to gain his trust, he purposely loses.
Eager to keep life exciting, Pollard’s intrigued when charming Amit presents a lucrative business proposition and the pair continue to bond.
However, Amit’s plan could go south as someone in the village is catching on to his tricks.
When Rodney Blackstock (Patrick Mower) warns him off Amit, Pollard’s determined to prove he still has his wits about him.
Amit and Pollard discuss business and the former manipulates the shop owner into making a deal with him.
Pollard’s all in as he commits to their joint venture but, once again, Amit faces a hurdle the next day as his new target insists on speaking to his other half Brenda Walker (Lesley Dunlop) before transferring any money.
Amit does his best to ensure Eric transfers the money without sounding too desperate.
Will Pollard trust his new friend and part with his cash?
