THORNY WELCOME ‘They’re up to something – look out!’ warn Emmerdale fans as ‘dodgy’ newcomer gets under their skin
EMMERDALE fans have been suspicious of a newcomer to the village ever since her real identity was revealed.
Rose Jackson gave her ex husband and daughter a shock when she turned up at their local hospital after walking out on her family decades ago.
She made it clear to Will Taylor that she felt no regret for her actions, despite having caused enormous stress by leaving him as a single parent.
Needless to say he wasn’t her biggest fan, and his current wife Kim Tate tried to intervene by offering Rose £3,000 to leave the village and never come back.
But the crafty woman exposed the bribe to her family members, who were left shocked by it.
In a bid to make her feel welcome in Emmerdale daughter Dawn invited Rose to come stay at the Home Farm until her arm injury healed.

However this left viewers alarmed, as they suspect Rose has ulterior motives for returning to the town.
They became even more suspicious after seeing her have a showdown with Kim, mocking her for failing in her attempt to run Rose out of town.
She raised a glass of vodka to a sarcastic toast, declaring: “If you come at me again, you’ll lose again.
“Here’s to letting a fox into your lovely little hen house.”

Others speculated about how Kim might be able to get rid of her, with someone joking: “Hope Kim’s getting the killer horse ready!”
Real soap fans will remember that Kim’s horse turned out to be responsible for the death of former villain Craig Reed.
Lydia Dingle’s rapist was trampled on by the stallion after he spooked it, and some viewers are hoping Rose will suffer a similar fate.
