Most of her assets were passed to her two children, Nicholas and Stephanie, as her ITV News presenter husband Charles Foster had died only four months before her.
She handed a large diamond ring to Stephanie and another five-stone diamond ring to daughter-in-law Saheli.
The soap icon also asked that her body be cremated after she died in a Rochdale dementia care home.
Her final will was signed in 2012, more than 11 years before her death.
Meg was a crucial part of major Emmerdale storylines including being trapped in a fire during the Sugden house explosion, developing a gambling addiction and faking Alzheimer’s disease.
The Manchester-born actress, who fell into a stage and screen career after being evacuated during the Second World War, battled dementia for several years before she died.
ITV said after her death: “Meg was a kind and wonderful lady, full of warmth and always with a twinkle in her eye.”
