EMMERDALE fans ‘can’t deal’ with ‘heartbreaking’ Nate Robinson scenes as wife Tracy’s affair sinks to a new low.
Fans of the ITV soap have not been impressed by Tracy’s affair with Caleb Milligan – who is the uncle of her husband Nate.
The pair were caught out at Christmas by Moira Dingle, and went on to promise they had ended things.
But earlier this month, their passionate affair resumed, and Nate has remained oblivious.
During the latest episode, Nate cooked a romantic meal for his wife and looked on proudly by what he had produced.
However, his spouse was nowhere to be found, as she had sneaked away to have a romantic meal for two with Caleb instead.
The scenes left some Emmerdale viewers heartbroken for the character, with one writing on social media: “I can’t deal with this, poor Nate”.
Another added: “Your wife is having a romantic dinner for two while you wait excitedly to surprise her with your own romantic dinner…lol Some people don’t deserve nice things…”
A third commented: “Omg don’t. That scene of Nate chuffed with himself while Tracy’s away cheating was more heartbreaking than Heath’s funeral“.
However, Nate did become suspicious of his wife and what she was up to, and confided in Belle Dingle: “I think my marriage is in trouble”.
He also mentioned the time Caleb had left his wallet at his and Tracy’s house, as well as the fact he was so determined to invest in Tracy’s business.
Later, he broke into her phone only to see a load of deleted messages between her and Caleb.
